If a photo is required, it generally must be:
Recent (taken within the last 6 months), in color, with a plain light background (usually white or light gray).
Full face, eyes open, neutral expression (no big smile), looking straight at the camera.
No headwear (except for religious reasons), no glasses, no shadows.
No filters, no digital alterations, natural skin tone.
Exact size and format depend on the destination (for example, some countries specify 35×45 mm, others 2×2 inches) and are shown during your application. If your photo doesn't meet the standard, we'll tell you before submission.
