What if my application is refused?

A refusal is always the decision of the destination country's authority, not DoVisa — even a perfectly prepared application can be refused. If it happens, we'll explain any reason the authority gave and, where possible, your options, such as correcting the issue and reapplying or applying for a different visa type. If you purchased Denial Protection, your service fee (and covered government fee) is refunded automatically. Because the decision is the government's, a refusal on its own is not grounds for a refund of work already completed without Denial Protection.
